Your chiropractor will first take a full case history, including the medical background as well as any presenting symptoms. Assuming both the practitioner and the patient are happy to continue, the chiropractor will carry out an examination of the body before proceeding with treatment.
Because we are working with the body, re-educating it into adopting new positions and alignments, healing usually takes place as part of a process rather than as a one-off event.
Three to five weekly sessions, each lasting around 45 minutes, are usually required before a reassessment is carried out.
